I'm Artun.

I am a third year Media Production & Management student at the University of Florida. I am invested in visual storytelling, film production, and the business side of creative work.

I was fascinated by movies from the first time I went to the theater and watched Disney’s Bolt. That one movie led to many more visits to the movie theater, and it slowly became something I knew I wanted to be part of. I was also very into TV shows, especially growing up in Istanbul, Turkey, where I was exposed to a lot of soap operas. Being surrounded by those stories made me want to grow in the entertainment industry.

Coming into college, I was sure I wanted to make films, tell stories, and connect with people from all around the world. Later, I realized that making films is not only art, but also has a big business side. Understanding how stories are sold, developed, and brought to life made me even more interested in the industry.

Looking ahead, I am committed to growing in the business side of film production and storytelling. I want to keep learning how to strategize, organize creative projects, and help stories move forward from an idea to an audience.
